| 2026-09-17 10:49:00 | 💻 | Coming from EndeavourOS (which I really like), I had the idea in my head that Fedora KDE was some sort of Shangri-La where everything just worked out of the box. Well, I can't install KDE applications using Discover for some reason, attempting an upgrade with Discover went *very* poorly, and Kmail is crashing every time I attempt to send a signed email. By comparison, Endeavour was rock solid, although there's so much more you need to do manually. All I really want is a good OOTB experience without a bunch of manual setup, recent packages, not too much system maintenance, and reliable graphical package management. Is that too much to ask? |
